Farmers and crop advisors face a maze of nearly 40 herbicide-tolerant trait platforms across 10 major row crops this year โ€“ with more on the horizon!

Thatโ€™s where the Herbicide Trait Quick Guide can help. This quick-flip booklet helps users sort through the many platforms and see which herbicides are safe and legal to use on each individual traited crop, faster than ever. It covers trait systems in corn, soybeans, cotton, wheat, sorghum, rice, sugarbeets, sunflowers, alfalfa and canola.

In this page of the Herbicide Trait Quick Guide, a chart lays out all theย
herbicide-tolerant trait systems available in cotton production today,ย
and connects them to the herbicides that they are designed to tolerate.

The guide was created by the Soy Checkoffโ€™s Take Action Herbicide-Resistance Management program and the GROW (Getting Rid of Weeds) network. Thanks to the checkoffโ€™s support, the guide is now free for limited print orders and digital downloads, on this Take Action webpage.

Each page of the booklet features a chart of an individual cropโ€™s trait systems and the corresponding herbicides that can be applied to them.

GROW and Take Action aim to keep the Herbicide Trait Quick Guide as up to date as possible, with new guides published when new trait platforms join or leave the farming landscape.
